The Dufour 2800 is a well designed small family cruiser with a surprising amount of accommodation within the compact length.  They are fun to sail, easy to handle and the light and airy interior is both practical and comfortable.  Viewing by appointment through our Suffolk Office - +44 (0) 1473 659 681.

AccommodationThe accommodation offers up to five berths in two cabins.  In forecabin, V berth with infill and stowage under.  Opening hatch to foredeck.  Full width heads compartment with marine toilet and washbasin.  In saloon, two settee berths.  Fold away saloon table.  Opening hatch to deck.  Quarter berth to starboard with slide-out chart table over and galley opposite.  Two burner gimballed gas hob with grill.  Stainless steel sink with manually pumped water.  Cool box.  140 litre freshwater capacity. Blue pattern upholstery throughout. 
Mechanical SystemsLocated behind the companionway is a 1981 Volvo MD11C 18hp, 2 cylinder diesel engine. Seawater cooled. Shaft driven to a fixed 3 bladed propellor.
Electrical SystemsOne domestic 12v battery (2015). One 12v engine start battery. 240v ring mains. Charged via alternator and battery charger.
Spars und SailsMasthead rigged bermudan sloop.  Anodised aluminium mast and boom.  Stainless steel standing rigging (2006).  Terylene running rigging (2006).  Furlex headsail furling system.  Slab reefing mainsail.  Some lines led aft to cockpit.  Two Lewmar 7 control line winches.  Two Lewmar 30 sheet winches.  Reefing winch at mast.
