Riva Bahamas 58 18m 1992, Express-Boote

Heir to the Black Corsair, the Riva Bahamas is an elegant fast commuter with a profile characterized by taut and traditional lines that highlight its muscular and bold character. This is the first project managed entirely by the handsome Mauro Micheli and represents the most successful model in the new Riva generation.
This beautiful Riva Bahamas 58 #6 3 cabins plus crew (model that was built in only 19 units between 1992 and 1998 and mostly with 2 cabins) is a boat with a very interesting history.
The first Owner wanted the interiors to be based on her personal design (something that the Riva Shipyard does not normally grant to customers) and chose both the internal layout and the colors of the furnishings and upholstery, the Lady was endowed with great taste and personality as well as the heir and owner of the multinational MAN and richest woman in Germany; MAN was and is also the supplier of the Riva shipyard's engines.
She used it in Greece until 2005, where she lived in a villa on her private island, for her Bahamas she had a hangar built on the sea where it could be easily launched and hauled in a few minutes, the boat therefore remained in the water only for as long as necessary for navigation.
The second owner, a well-known Italian financier, purchased her in 2006 to use her in the waters of the French Riviera.
The third Owner used it for a short period (2015-2019) and occasionally due to health problems.
The fourth and current owner, a great Riva enthusiast and collector, purchased this Bahamas at the end of 2019 and immediately subjected her to an important and total refit between 2020 and 2023, now the vessel is in great condition, see the list of works carried out below .

Erede del Black Corsair, il Riva Bahamas è un elegante fast commuter dal profilo caratterizzato da linee tese e tradizionali che mettono in risalto il suo carattere muscoloso e grintoso. Si tratta del primo progetto gestito interamente dall’avvenente Mauro Micheli e rappresenta il modello di maggior successo nella nuova generazione Riva.
Questo bellissimo Riva Bahamas 58 #6 3 cabine più marinaio (modello che fu costruito soltanto in 19 unità tra il 1992 del il 1998 e per la maggior parte con 2 cabine) è una barca dalla storia molto interessante.
La prima Armatrice volle gli interni su suo disegno personale (cosa che il Cantiere Riva normalmente non concede ai clienti) e scelse sia il layout interno che i colori degli arredi e delle tappezzerie, la Signora era dotata di grande gusto e personalità nonché l’erede e proprietaria della multinazionale MAN e donna più ricca della Germania; la MAN era ed è anche fornitore dei motori del Cantiere Riva.
La utilizzò in Grecia fino al 2005, dove viveva in una villa sulla sua isola privata, per il suo Bahamas fece costruire un hangar sul mare dove poteva essere facilmente varato e alato in pochi minuti, l’imbarcazione quindi rimaneva in acqua soltanto il tempo necessario per la navigazione.
Il secondo Armatore, un noto finanziere Italiano la acquistò nel 2006 per utilizzarla nelle acque della Riviera Francese.
Il terzo Armatore la utilizzò per un breve periodo (2015-2019) e saltuariamente per problemi di salute.
Il quarto e attuale Armatore, grande appassionato e collezionista Riva, acquistò questo Bahamas a fine 2019 e subito la sottopose ad un importante e totale refitting tra il 2020 e 2023, ora l’imbarcazione è in grandi condizioni, vedere a seguire la lista lavori effettuati.
