The GibSea 43 was awarded the Cruising Worlds “Boat of the Year” Award for Best Production Boat under $200,000 for the year 2001. Though the architecture has allowed large volumes and very spacious cabins to be created, its hull shape remains in proportion, enabling sailing performance levels worthy of a real yacht.
