Yacht Hull Insurance

    A fixed value is agreed upon between the owner and Pantaenius, which applies for the entire period of the contract, and which shall be settled without deduction in the event of an actual total loss. This value can be renegotiated at any time. Partial damage shall be settled up to the amount of the agreed fixed value. Costs for new parts that are necessary for repairs shall be compensated without deduction.

    The most important benefits of the Pantaenius Yacht Hull Insurance:

  • A fixed value shall be agreed upon between the owner and the insurer, which shall be paid without deduction in the event of an actual total loss, and which applies for the entire period of validity of the contract.
  • Partial damages shall be regulated up to the amount of the agreed fixed value. Costs for new parts that are necessary for repairs shall be compensated without deduction.
  • A bonus of up to 40% is possible.
  • Subsequent increases in risk due to periodical trips beyond the agreed upon touring region are automatically insured as well.
  • Salvage, wreck and disposal costs shall be covered without limit.
  • Inventory and equipment kept in a secure place, also outside of the yacht and during winter storage, are insured as well.
  • All damages resulting from sinking or leakage, also to machinery, are insured as well.
  • Damages resulting from grounding or collision with floating objects are insured, including damages to propellers and the rudder.
  • Damages to standing and running rigging are generally included.
  • Tenders and dinghies are always insured as well, also in the case of petty theft.
  • Damages resulting from design and material defects and wear and tear due to normal use are only excluded with regard to the part directly affected. The subsequent damages, which are often expensive, are fully covered.
